LEFT - HAND CARBIDE BURR  (For use with the #1MC or the #266MC)

Left-hand carbide comes in 1/8"shanks only.

LEFT-HAND CARBIDE GIVES YOU THE VERSATILITY OF HAVING TWO RIGHT ANGLE HANDPIECES WHEN USED WITH THE #1MC.

Must have an 1/8"collet for your #1MC or #266MC to use the left-hand carbide.  REASONS for needing to turn cutters backwards: sometimes you do not have enough room to work against rotation, and at times you can not get the proper head angle to keep the cutter from chattering or trying to bounce.  The cutter can also have a tendency to walk out of the port or hole if you have the wrong rotation.  You can turn the cutter in the opposite direction by using the left-hand cutters in the #1MC and inserting them into the back-side of the head (head plate) and pushing the cutter shank into the head until it is flush with the collet, Making sure that the end of the shank is into the collet so that you can see the tip of the shank.
